A new tradition

Hi everyone.

It's Christmas.

Yay.

14 So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this,
"Cursed are you above all the livestock
and all the wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly
and you will eat dust
all the days of your life.

15 And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring [a] and hers;
he will crush [b] your head,
and you will strike his heel."

So... the snake's head has been crushed.

That should be a new Christmas tradition. Every child should get a small snake skull in their stocking and they should all get to crush it, thus symbolizing what Christ has done for us.

Okay, maybe not.

That's a grand idea. :-) I like how you think....

ha. at church on Sunday he talked about Revelation 12, the passage about the woman and the dragon, and suggested adding a dragon to the Nativity.

Your two ideas would go well together.

hm the number of people with stockings that follow the Bible is quite a lot. I'm pretty sure Peta wouldn't let that get off the ground, then the ACLU would get involved. So given that, it sounds like a pretty good idea.
